A Gala Series in Collaboration with Gesher Theater, Based on A. Pushkin Rhymed Novel

Actors of the Gesher Theater and singers of the Israeli Opera will bring together "Eugene Onegin", Pushkin's play, with excerpts from Tchaikovsky's opera based on it, and with excerpts from the play "Eugene Onegin, a Footnote" adapted by Alvis Hermanis and Roy Chen. In doing so, they will create a collage that combines the emotional resonance provided by the music with the irony and social satire underscored by the play.

The series will include a bilingual evening (accompanied by subtitles in both languages).
